Had a leaky clutch hose so took the opportunity to fit a new master and slave as well as the hose.
This is for a 93 GQ td42. No matter how much i bleed the system (as per manual) i cant seem to get any clutch. Any tricks i should know about would be much appreciated.???
By the way all parts used were genuine Nissan.

Mate I feel ur pain
I was at it for two hours with no joy. Then outa frustration I cracked the bleeder at the slave and pumped like all get out till new fluid came through then whilst holding the pedal down closed the bleed nipple. Then checked for air at the nipple near the fuel filter then finally at the master cyl reservoir and was all good in 5 mins. This is apparently the incorrect way but worked for me. I did use a clear hose attached to the slave nipple and immersed in a jar with a small amount of fluid in. I tried the book way and was so pi55ed off after two hours hahahaha the way I've described is the way we used to do old holdens as well good luck with it mate

A wee trick when doin a replacement slave or master cylinder
Is to "PRE bleed" them before fitting
IF ya dont you have to get ALL that air out
Just a wee tip

if your having heaps of trouble, especially if their is a large amount of air in the line, use a second person and get them to stand on the clutch before you crack the bleeder each time. then close it again before they depress the pedal. That way you can see what air is coming out and if there are any leaks visual.
