Pretty sure there is no external input to feed another camera signal, and from factory the camera function will not work over about 10 kph, pretty rubbish in this day and age, but Nissan can't even give us car play, so thinking about caravan owners would be the last thing on the list (lol)

Plenty of aftermarket head units appearing now, it means spending more coin and pulling your car apart, but some do look pretty good and have great functions including i believe extra camera inputs.

I find it more natural to look at the rear view mirror to see what’s behind so I have my caravan rear camera on a separate feed to a screen on the rear view mirror.

Yeah in my GUIV i had the clip over mirror type and found it great and a better place to view. It would not be that big a deal to sort that out for a caravan Camera.

I assume the OP is talking about a Y62? The S5 TiL has the Smart rear view mirror that has a second camera at the back to run as a permanent display, full video wide screen, when the back of the car is fully loaded and you cant see out the back, works Awesome. I'd think something like this could be sorted wirelessly to the back of the caravan too if needed.

It's just strange sometimes to look in the 'rear view mirror' and not see the caravan you thought was there.. :)
