Suggestions for day trips

Hi all, with some time off I’m really keen to get off road. Not a complete beginner but want to take the kids out for a day trip, nothing hardcore as I’m still on the y62 factory tyres but just want to start getting out there. Being new to VIC I’d be keen to get some tips from people. I’m on the SE suburbs side of Melbourne and looking for some quick day trips to get started. Cheers

Hi mate.
Sorry personally don't know of much done SE way.
But if you head north there is plenty to drive. From easy scenic to spare jocks stuff.

I highly recommend the 4wd treks close to Melbourne book.
