100A Bolt in Fuse (GU)

Hi all,

How on earth are you supposed to get to the nut that holds the 100A in?? I don't have a welder to make a tool or anything..

Also if someone has a spare 100A in Melbourne please let me know, I'd love to buy it asap!

Are you sure the fuse is bolted in? These look the same as the ones in my GQ and they are a very neat/firm push in unit. I dont recall a nut at all.

Yeah mate there are 2 bolts either side of that fuse. The left hand bolt looks easy to get to but the right hand not so much.

What's involved in removing that fusebox or lifting it up slightly?

Well there you go, thanks for that clarification, now seems the fuse block might have to be removed first - somehow?

The Haynes manual says there are retaining clips which hold the fusible links in, but everything I've prodded at hasn't given me joy yet!

Got it sorted.

There are 4 clips in total on the battery side of that fuse box.. after releasing them you have to pull very hard and eventually it will come up enough to unbolt the fuse.
