New to Forum, Not Mine.. ZD30DDi Cylinder Head

Hello crew thank you for the acceptance of membership to the Forum. First declaration, its not my Patrol its the Step sons!! 2006 ST-S GU ZD30DDi. Has had all the "Anti Grenade" Modifications. EGR Blanking, Catch Can, Intercooler Thermo Fan, Boost Needle Valve, Boost gauge, Exhaust Temp gauge bla bla. But still managed to Crack the head when 4WD in the sand following and cook itself. So I have stripped it down, confirmed its cracked the head between the Glow plug hole and the Valve seats on all 4 cylinders. New complete Head on its way. So one question, although fitted with said Thermo Fan, its manually activated, which relies on young head remembering to switch it on, which didn't happen and here we are. Is there any tips on converting this to be activated via a temperature switch either intake or exhaust temps? If so any information would be greatly appreciated. Yes I can hard wore it so its always on when the engine is running but would prefer to thermostatically activate.
