1998 Patrol 4.5 got no power?

Hey guys,

First time posting so bare with me.
Ive had a look at quite a lot of forum about this issue I have but can't seem to find anything.

Anyway, I have a 1998 Patrol 4.5 running on petrol only. The car starts ok and seems to idle ok but when I take it for a drive it has no power. It will get unto about 40kph and the struggle to go any faster.

The car in neutral revs no worries and it drops down a gear when I put the pedal to the floor but still no power.

I can get it uptown 100kph but takes a while and needs to be on a flat road and no hills.

Any info wold be greatly appreciated.

What's the service history? Has this just started to happen recently?

The service history is up to date. Its done 315,000. Ive only had it a week or so and purchased it knowing it had this issue.
It feels like its running out of fuel, but obviously not so not sure what it could be

Are Super Cheap Auto able to run a scan on it so you can see if there is a fault code?

Check that the fuel pump is getting enough volts.
