Evening all,

I had a suspension upgrade done last week at Zordos 4WD Suspensions. Went for 50mm lift with Dobinson medium duty coils and Koni adjstable shocks. Ride has improved dramatically and is a vast improvement on the factory set-up. John provides a great (and cost effective) service and has wide ranging experience to call on - this is my second suspension upgrade from Zordos.

Planning a trip to Sundown NP in a few weeks so will get a chance to put the set-up through it's paces. Looking foward to that!

All,
Thanks for the replies/interest. Will get some photos following the upgrade and post them within a few days.
The Koni shocks are Series 82 (35mm bore, oil). As I mentioned they are adjustable but John said it's best to remove them from the vehicle to do this. Left them on the factory settings and this appears OK - may change that after first serious excursion off-road. Noticed that the OEM shocks appeared to have 'gone soft' when compared to the Koni's. Have been told that the OEM suspension is 'designed to get the vehicle off the showroom floor' - that may be a bit harsh, but after fitting a 'tougher' set-up I would tend to agree.
Cheers
Rob
