Hi Ya.
I am new to 4X4's espacially Nissans. You would think that at 72 years old I would be over motors but I am not. At the moment I am rebuilding, without much success, a GU TD42 Wagon from the ground up. I bought a kit from Melbourne with a 6BT Cummins and a six speed auto plan to fit it when I am finished the body off full rebuild. Wanted to turn the Wagon into a Dual Cab but my adopted Grandson was horrorified at the thought, he owns five GU TD42's. The engine in his coily ute, as he refers to it, carked it. He is just one year into his career as a small engine mechanic, he has bought a full rebuild kit for his Nissan and plans to rebuild the engine himself after, he has had all the necessary work done by a professional, to the block and head, you know, resleeves and such like. I, having the time to spare, have been given the job of tracking down a manual suitable for the purpose. Wish me luck! Andrew.
