Yep, I've had that too. You hit a patch of water or mud, it sprays up out the front of the car and then you drive through it. It's worse when you have a big lift and a high clearence bullbar, nothing to stop the water/mud spraying up. You could try putting mudflaps in front of the front wheels but will look butt ugly!

Allways thought tossers had the front flaps, did an outback trip last year fair go I could have used them. Understood what they were for then.

ROFL... yeah, they do have their use don't they.

Either them or a 44 as a Windscreen Washer Tank if your touring on muddy roads

This thread delivers. Water on the windscreen is no real issue. I find mud more a problem, even worse is when you run over cow crap in the paddock and it sprays all over your windscreen. Though if your in a ute and your kids are on the back it is a bonus......lol.

God father them bovine bombs are a pain.
Drove a badly potholed road today at 30klm and had water and mud all over the windscreen slowed to 20 klm and no problems, when the road is in good nick it's a 80klm road.
It was rough though the rain has played havoc with our roads both gravel and sealed.
