Hi

We're a family of five from Sydney and after heaps of reaserch we''ve decided to get a Patrol to take us on our big trip to WA next year. We are total noobs to 4wd's but quickly realised that we need one as all the good stuff seems to be off road!! Husby reckons that the Patrols seem the strongest and best value overall.

Now we just have to decide which Patrol will be best for our needs, buy one, learn how to drive and look after it in the bush!!!

We'll be towing a camper trailer and husby's keen on a 4.2 turbo diesel, but the newer ones with low kms would eat up a big chunk of the budget....so we are now looking at our other options.

Looking forward to getting to know you all while I work it all out.

Good to have you with us, join in and ask any questions you may have.
There's plenty of info on here as well.
A Patrol is a good choice for a tourer for those harder to get to places and the easier ones.
Put up some pics of your Patrol when you get it, we like pics on here.
