Hmm, I don't mind them on the series 1-3.
I think they give a more aggressive stance.

Yeah Kut snake make them. If you were running 35's on neg 44 rims they would look ok I reckon.

Exo flares are a great product and Zolyan is a good guy to deal with.

Opinions vary Jaysee Mate, but I personally believe there is nothing sexier than the styling of an early GU with black OEM flares and tame 35’s all round [emoji182][emoji3590]
So much so I’m thinking about removing the aftermarket 3” exhaust system and going back to a more fitting 1” tailpipe for some true love tonight [emoji23] [emoji106][emoji106]

I saw a local gun metal grey y61 today with a set of these on. I think he was running M8060 TREPADOR 35x12.5-16 (quick going past it glance) as it looked fat (fatter than mine and I run 315/75/16Lt Razr's)...but it actually looked pretty good similar to the green one pictured. Sounded tame though!

The reason why for this, I hit a roo on my way to work one morning. It put enough damage that I'm going to get it fixed through the insurance.
After looking at these flares and seeing that the rear ones are going to be wider than the factory bumper it's not going to look good. They need to have an aftermarket rear bar fitted. I'll speak to the beater and see what he recommends..

Aftermarket rear bars are made to line up with the OEM flares. My Milweld bar lines up. If the insurance company is paying for it, get genuine.

Do that even make rears to suit larger flares?
I'm dropping it off tomorrow after work and will have a chat to see them about which way we will go
Yes, insurance is paying [emoji108]

If you talk to Tim from exo flares he might be able to make these in a fashion that they are skinnier at the very front and rear of the car to match bar work.

Here are some pics. It looks like exo does match standard front bar work. There rear flares hang out but have a pic of an idea for something to cater with the rear bar.

Don't think I'll go the monster flares, but side steps are being replaced, so scrub bars are now an option.
Dropped off the patrol today and spoke with the beater and he pretty much said send me what your after and I'll see what we can do.
I would like to run a true slider that also runs the scrub bars, but I can't seem to find anything in a retail store. I keep finding side steps with scrub bars. Are the stores just calling sliders, side steps or does no one make them.

My personal nuffy definition of a set of ‘Sliders’ John mate is two rails, one underneath your lower sill line and the second tweaked up externally of some 10-30degrees at approximately 150mm outreach lean protection depending on your setup...disclaimer!
IMHO, in this current C-19 climate and with all outdoor Australian recreational suppliers under the pump they are mostly at least 6 months behind schedule and even the slightest customisations are at the bottom of everybody’s barrel ATM.
