I haven’t put any updates or pictures on here for a while, so here goes.
It’s been a big year for improvements to the Maverick.
First up was my DIY custom rear bar that has a hole to run the exhaust through to protect it through tight departure angles.
Then there was my first ever turbo installation after I scored a used 2860 Garrett. I also fabricated an air box as part of the turbo installation. The improvement in performance was impressive considering that I have not touched the original NA fuel pump or installed an intercooler (yet!).
I spent some time tidying up the lower flanks of the car and protecting it all with grey Raptor Coat as a nod to it’s original Maverick colour scheme. I followed this up with some black Raptor on the rock sliders and rear bar to finish it all off. I’m quite pleased with the way it looks now.
