Are you adding more oil to make the hub lock up earlier, or just changing the oil?

adding just for a try ! still thinking about cooling … gggg
trying to do one thing at a time . after that water pump . awaiting to get the dash looked at . I think I might buy a 2nd hand dash so I can stay on the road.
I am not enjoying the process at all !!

Righto. Pretty simple. Remove the hub > Undo the four bolts holding the two halves together > Lay the hub flat, mountnig flange up and let it sit for a while to let the oil move to the lower half of the hub > carefully pry open the hub, there is a really thin oring that surrounds the hub, this usually breaks so when installing, so a little bit of silicone will be needed.
I think from memory, 1 1/2 bottles was the sweet spot on top of whats in there. Start with one though.

Have fun.

Best get yourself a spare set of studs and nuts too before you start. The studs can strip when you take the nuts off... Part number for the studs is 08226-61410.
