I have been looking at the invaluable information in the forum for a while now and have finally join, Id like to thank everyone for their help.
I currently own a 2013 CRD patrol,
On my last trip to Coral bay in WA the clutch decided it was time to leave, we where on our way to the beach with minimal places to turn around for a tow, so by the time the i had found a decent spot the car would engage first gear and not even move.
this turned into changing the clutch in the sand at the caravan park with 2 ratchet straps, a sign from the dump for a base and a trolley jack also from the dump that wouldn't stay up. safe to say that this was an absolute mission.
If i had 1$ for every time someone said i should have brought a Landcruiser i probably could have. absolutely love my partol and would never trad her in.
about to embark changing the diff gears to 4.6 Ratio.
