While pulling things apart today I found a position for a couple of switches. I haven't seen anyone place switches here.
Might help someone..http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2020/10/52.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2020/10/53.jpg

They look like AC control points or something. Was that just under that blank cover?

Yes under the cover, they're sunroof switches.

Nice find mate. Would be a handy spot out of the way.

FWIW: jaysee Mate, I can highly recommend keeping major rockers (winch/lockers) central...forward for balancing half your left hand and or Navi controlled if needed to operate in dire straits :-(
Did have the privilege of driving Kimbo ‘s 6.5T Patrol over in WA years ago but honestly struggled keeping my left arm up high steady on the roof selecting on/off over bumpity tracks etc....

Winch isolator and in/out are on the pillar and will be staying there.

Definitely has its Solo Mission Merits on the drivers side reaching in whilst working on say a max two feet arm Pillar Mount JaySee Mate!
Can’t personally trust badly experienced remote winch devices and are shit scared of standing directly in front of my bullbar utilising momentary switches for anything greater than general line housekeeping without a Navi :-)
Please do consider one day moving majors (lockers/winch) most central forward sharing if potentially looking to seek gnarlier adventures with a top mate on/off throughout hairpin loads [emoji106][emoji106]
We should all reinvest in Aluminium Landy’s with PTO Capstan Winches out front playing Tug of War Dinkum Tough Style [emoji1037][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
