OMG!!!

Folks, I just saw a GQ for sale on the internet that just came on to buy it now for $750.

No engine description, etc.

I just rung the lady and she said she only put it on a few hours ago and It's already sold and she was very happy.

I asked what engine and she said a 4.2 diesel and it has only just clicked over 200,000.

I am absolutely kicking myself I didnt find this earlier this afternoon!!!

Someone just scored the bargain of a lifetime!!!

It was her fathers and he just passed away and she thought it was an old paddock bomb!!!

I feel like crying...lol

Well the lady unfortunately cannot go back on the deal she already made with the buyer as the buyer has put $750 into her account.

I am shattered...lol

Yeah I'd be too old mate , what a bloody shame hay.....But tell me.... Would have mucked around to long with money on a deal like that??? I know I wouldn't....

Well I hope maybe we'll see the new owner on here anyways.

Plassy................ mate remember when you bought those things on ebay and I sent then from Sydney 2 Vic, I need your help 2 arrange a Patrol 2 be sent from Vic 2 Sydney....... any chance of you picking it up while I arrange transport??????????

sorry mate couldn't help but sh!tstir, bummer about missing that buy. Some people are just in the right place at the right time. I was speaking 2 a mate the other day, he told me he was talking 2 some random bloke that he just done a delivery 2, the guy had just bought himself a GU, my mate asked him what he was doing with the GQ parked in the yard, Bloke goes its gotta go, 1g you can have it!!!!!!!, my mate said he needs 2 do a little work 2 it, but should get about 8g for it!!!!!!

I hate to rain on ya'll's pity party, but that GQ may not have been all that. Sight unseen and all.

Still, even if the diffs and box were shot, the motor hadn't run 10 years and the body was rusted and leaking, you could probably break it up for parts and get your $750 back and more.

The TD42's worth more as a re-builder just for a start
