Katrol goes to Snickoland

Well, as you all know I decided to go south for the winter.. And what a winter it has been.
The trip was mostly uneventful, Katrol blew a heater hose just outside of Mount Gambier, which was quickly patched up with silastic, plastic lid, gaffa tape and cable ties. ( this managed to last another 700 odd kms before we replaced it)...
Anyway here are some pics of my time in 'Snickoland'

Thank-you to Snicko and Hubby for your hospitality.. It has, so far, been a fantastic few days and I'm not sure I want to leave.. You guys and your area are absolutely beautiful. It is such a shame we live so far away from each other !!

I see that you did some Beach Driving Kat & Snicko and washed the Trolls afterwards.
I would also High Pressure Wash under the Car to wash off any Salt.
You probably both are aware of this anyway

The sand was hard and easy going. (The rattle you can hear is the one we brought home from Googs)
The track is both ways so need the sand flag which makes the goal posts....hahha

Yeah I didnt know if it was an income tide or something like that. Driving in water always has that element not knowing whats underneath you going on which can spice up things a bit...lol

I like those sand hills that drop straight off the other side...... that can get interesting out my way cos the condition of the sand is forever changing & what works fine one day won't the next but the terrain basically stays the same...... Good fun for sure.
