Hi Everyone,

i have a 1997 GQ TB42 (Dual Fuel) manual.

When driving on gas it runs extremely well. Plenty of power through the rev range, however once i run her on petrol, she begins to piss fart around. I have changed the fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel regulator, spark plugs, leads, air box, clean my fuel tank. Without any difference though. Struggles to get up to 100kph (Drops down to 40kph on any hills) feels like im driving a big loaded semi.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Cheers,

This thread deals mainly with carbies, but some components in injectors can dry out if not used a lot over an extended time. http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/showthread.php?37458-LPG-Missfiring-rough-idle-and-rough-running

I take it you have checked the fuel cut off solenoid in the gas system. Sometimes they stick and don't open properly. That's what happened to a car I had on gas some years ago. May not be the same system as yours though.
