Hello, me and my father have a 99 patrol with 2.8 liter turbo. 44*18.5 inch tires
some of the modification are: 5.42 diff ratio arb front locker, orginal rear locker, extra transfer case with lower gear, 3. something i think, lift coils and spacers, koni adjustable shocks, snorkel, oil webasto heater, all torsion arms dropped, rear axle moved back few cm and front axle moved forward, special custom front wheel bearings, longer distance between and outer bearing same size as inner bearing, two extra fuel tanks total 250l+ and of course vhf radio and garmin gps and some lights

ready for offroading , oil, supplies, tools and etc. it weighs about 3200kg

It has a lower diff ratio so it does go about 2500 5th 100km/h but wont hold it uphill, also some tinkering with the fuel pump. but since the turbo doesn't kick in until about 2500rpm it is a tad bit lazy especially in heavy snow. had a manually activated computer chip that helped a bit but after the head broke (stopped counting after 25 cracks) it hasn't been used.

now i want to put the old type fuel pump and a turbo from the 3 liter engine or a modified 91-97 turbo.
I would like to get a 4.2 turbo, but in Iceland they are very hard to come by

Also thinking of adding to the fleet.

THANKS FOR THAT,DID THE CHIPCAUSE IT TO OVER FUEL AND COOK THE HEAD

Welcome to the forum,

You certainly have a capable rig, that list of mods is very impressive.
The red GQ looks the goods too, let us know if you do add it to the fleet.
