Leaky Deisel pump...O ring?

Poor girl hasn't seen the tracks since March...been giving her a run every week but last week I noticed some clean areas on the fromt pumpkin...

Got down and had a look around...looks like a leak from the side of the fuel pump...

The lil inspection plate on the side is letting the fuel out...

Seems to be a common thing around the traps...anyone done the repair? As far as my knowledge bends I need to remove the small plate and replace an O-ring behind it...

Any other info would be a plus...

G'day mate.yes,it is just an o ring under that plate.
That might not be the leak though.
Top cover is the usual spot,drips down and makes it look like it's the o ring.give it a good degrease and check where the leak is coming from first.
99% of the time once 1 seal goes and you replace it,another one will leak soon after.
