I just got off the phone to my neighbour who just put a deposit down for td42 engine to swap over from his old and tired TB42 GQ.

We are going to do the engine swap ourselves which I've never done before so pretty excited about it!

I will do a full DIY thread with pictures and infos to help anyone in the future.

I'm sure there will be a few questions along the way....lol...Umm, Tony your not going away on holidays anytime soon are you...LMAO!!!!:bananarock:

I'll be here mate and you have my mobile number if I'm not near the computer.
Has your neighbour got a diesel bell housing and starter motor lined up?

No idea, he just phoned me to say he put a deposit on an engine that Patrolapart have sent over from WA and he asked for a full kit.

I'm seeing him at lunchtime so I'll ask then....Thanks Tony!!!

He has ordered it as a complete kit which includes this but why do you ask Tony?

If you have these then let me know and I'll see if he wants them...If thats where you were heading...lol

Just making sure he has all the important pieces for the conversion.

As soon as the kit arrives mate. It's coming from WA to Patrolapart in Lilydale.

The price was actually quite reasonable...

I would guess and say 2-3 weeks from now.
