View Full Version : Sway bar disconnects where did you put them ?

I am installing my sway bar disconnects did you stagger them from front left to rear right or it doesn't matter.

It should not really matter mate. The disconnects makes one end floating so they become irrelevant .

Thanks for response Mud I have been told because I am running superflex sway bars that even if I did disconnect them there would be no difference in the flex, the disconnects just come with the kit as standard.

Yeah i found the disconnects a train wreck to reconnectbat end of day. Car needs to be dead flat to align and No mud....... bhahahahahahq

Disconnects would be near useless if you have the superflex swaybars mate.

Both on the front for superflex swaybars. They hang down (mine does anyway) and are likely to get hung up on a rock or something it just makes it easier to remove before wheeling.
The rear one can stay in. It allows a good amount of travel

Anyone know if there is a stay bar extention for the factory disconect in the rear? 1990 GQ wagon.
