WARN XD9000 contactor Control remote

Hey,

Just bought a GU and it came with a Warn xd9000 with a contactor controller added.
the controller box is a seven pin with 6 making a circle then one in the middle. Only 5 are used.
Unfortunaly the bloke i bought the ute off lost the wired remote so now i need to source a new one.
anyone know where i can get one from thats not 200AUD?

or the wiring diagram and plug part number so i can rig up in cab controls.

Quick google for "warn pinout" came up with a bunch of similar items.. One below would probably get you across the line. It's different but I can't imagine they're too dramatically different. You just need to find which solinoid trigger wire is what.

If it were me I'd probably just run wires straight to the solenoids for in-cab switches and leave the plug free for the remote.

Alternatively you could search ebay for a wireless remote and wire that it. Would probably be easier than running wires to the cab.

$200 is a joke at our expense. I discovered our old one was not working properly just a few days before we wee due to leave Broome to head up into the north Kimberley. I felt we needed the winch option for the Munja track, so reluctanly coughed up the $200. Wasn't until we were further east (near Kununurra) that we had to use the winch,but I was sure glad I had it when I needed it! Wirelress remotes on ebay were way cheaper, but I didn't have sufficient timre to get it to me by the time I discovered the old ones fault. A lesson in there about not leaving pre-trip chrecks to the last minute.

Hard wired into your recreational cab is the go IMHO, basic isolation switch indoors too, a much smarter sparky mate has kindly assisted with our reccy twucks two times if not thrice before!
