Does anyone know what other vehicles have roof bar mounts that are the right height for a 2005 GU Patrol (not extra high roof)?
In the UK we are really limited in range but there are plenty of Ford Transit, Pajero etc roof bars available for standard gutter mounts.
Anyone know what works well and keeps the bars low to the roof, or if not compatibility, what height Patrol mounts should be?
Thanks

Do you have Rhino rack gear in UK ?
The rhino pioneer platform is the lowest available for a Y61.

Is it possible for them to import from Aus for you ???
The reason I ask is it works the other way around. Rhino rack ordered something from UK for my neighbour for his Defender. A part that was not normally sold in Aus.

Probably, but at significant cost. I'm looking to the 2nd hand market so wondering if any other ones might be compatible.

The Rhino racks have options for height (110, 150, 210, 280mm). The standard for Patrol is the lowest 110mm which still gives plenty of clearance between the roof and the rack. The 110mm is measured from the inside of the gutter (where the mount sits) to the underside of the cross bar.

That's really helpful, so any bars with a minimum 110mm mounts should work if they are a generic gutter mount?

Yep, as long as they measure that height the same way.
