Good morning everyone,
I was in the process of rebuilding my RD28 engine when a need for a service manual lead me here.
I own a 1999 RD28 GU manual in the best patrol colour ever GOLD (very faded of course). I don't mind the engine or the truck so when she started using water (no massive surprise that it did) I decided to buy a 2nd engine and do a complete rebuild then swap it over once complete.
I am a fitter machinists and have more then enough tools and experience to do the job and keep rebuild cost down. Having said that I have still found that they are expensive little buggers for parts in comparison to some of the other engines I have done.
any way thanks for listening (reading) I am off to download a manual then try to start a build thread with some pics of the engine build and the GU.
Cheers
Tim
