hello,i have a low km 2008 diesel nissan patrol,wife rolled it and now a write off. looking at another patrol with high km,s and would like to exchange motors.my question is up to what year patrol could i use. eg. will my 2008 motor fit (without much trouble) a 2013 model??
motor is a Zd 30.eg., will the wiring etc.match up? do the cars have to come from same country it was manufactured ? anything i need to be careful of?? thanks for any help in advance..

It will be a direct swap over. Nothing difficult. What model you can put it onto? As far as I know you can’t have a newer donor car. As far as I know...

As above, it will be a like for like swap.

As for motor vs. donor car fules. The engine MUST have emission controls implemented that are equal to that of the year of donor car was made.
In this case 2008 and 2013 CRD zd30 has not changed. It still has the same EGR setup so, 2008 zd30 will go into a 2013 no questions asked.
