G'day,
Thought I'd take the opportunity for a quick intro. New to the world of 4WD and just purchased a 2001 GU II 4.2td with 180,000 km. Thought I would join the site in the hope of learning more about the vehicles and possibly meet some like-minded people.

Cheers mate. How long have you been on the forum? Looked at a few posts prior to joining & it seems there are some folks who have been involved for quite a while. As I mentioned in my intro, don't know much about 4WD's, but after having done some research, I think I've bought the right vehicle. It's originally owned by Vic Police & an old bloke bought it off them. He did his touring on the bitumen & kept all maintenance / service records. The car is completely stock except for a bar & winch which has never being used. Looking to set it up gradually to do some touring ourselves. Anyways, thanks for the reply.
