just about to start a efi conversion on my rb30 patrol have been reseaching for weeks. got an donor vl commodore which cost me 50 bucks for the whole thing. starting removing the ecu and wiring harness the other day. been told i will have to get a high pressure fuel pump out of a r31 skyline/ef falcon or vn commodore because they will sit in the orginal patrols fuel carrier. need to change to hi pressure fuel lines. will be removing the fuel injection distributor and coil this weekend. just wanted to start this post incase i get stuck or anyone has got any ideas. i know its been done alot but its the first time for me.

As far as I know the original in tank components are used in most long range tanks (for Patrols). The pick up may have been extended to suit the deeper tank.

Get something common like a VN or EF pump that should be cheap and easy to come by if it needs replacing again later.
RB30E needs a pump capable of delivering 43 - 64 Psi (297 - 442 kPa).
Your fuel hose and filter will also need to be upgraded to EFI spec to withstand the additional pressure.

I am about to do this swap myself. the skyline pump is 2 short for the tank. what pump did you end up using? is there a way to extend the pump? what about the wiring? did you put a relay in to improve the power delivery?
also how did you wire up the fuel injection set up? any tips will help
