I'm New Here with a question

Hi Everyone just a quick intro. I have a 2008 5 speed manual 3.0l turbo diesel GU wagon and am setting it up for towing a caravan. Pretty sure it's a DX model and I think the towing capacity should be 3200kgs but on the door plate it says 3050kgs anyone know why? I did a Vin check and says its 7th month 2008 but also says a 2010 Nissan Patrol/Safari. Numbers on chassis match the vin plate. I'm confused.

i think 3050kg is gvm , 3200kg is towing capacity

Wot he said X2... and the reason for the build date being correct but the year descriptor being a tad odd from the VIN is probably because the series 6 went from 08 to 10 IIRC... been wrong before tho
