What is this

I found this piece in my driver side front door in my GQ Patrol, it was sitting in the bottem rattling around. I have electrical mirrors and windows, the window still function fine without it. I'm wondering if anyone knows what it is and where it goes so I can fix it.

Broken part of the door lock assy, I reckon it has fallen down the bottom and whoever replaced the part didn't bother to fish it out.
