Hi People
Ive just seen this section.
Ive made a couple of posts already but am now introducing myself
My name is Phil and I have about 6 Toyotas but have always admired Shorty y60s.
Another Toyota guy did a earthworks job for me and had a couple of Y60s which he rated highly so I got one and did it up a bit as my Sons first car.
And here I am.
Ive been impressed with the availability and reasonable price of parts
The TD42 is simple and solid, mine (silver top non turbo) revs smooth as a 1kz Turbo.
So impressed Ill get another for myself.
This first one is an Auto (93 Y60) but Ill get a manual next and probably convert the current one.

Hes the sort of lad who wont stop pestering me until its a 30k truck.
When he was heading into the North Island champs he made a deal with his mother that if he won he would get a smart phone.
Then heading into the NZ champs he made a deal with her for a car if he won.After that I said to her, for Christs sake no more deals
