Hi all,
I have been calling a couple of fridgies today to get a spare valve and an appointment to fix it but either they cannot get the part or are booked out.
Before I keep calling more shops I wanted to ask if you might have a number to call.
Seems to be a big problem to get a new tx valve for a GU Patrol [emoji849]
Saw a mechanic this morning and we spotted the problem with his gauge within two minutes. Couldn’t fix it though as he doesn’t have the right valve on hand
Any help appreciated :)
Cheers

Patrolapart website isn’t advertising new ones Normi mate but worth giving them a call as they might have a second hand one around as they wreck vehicles daily.

Surely you are NOT in Melbourne then.
This mob will have one. Located in Box Hill too.

Don't know if it is common but mine failed a few years ago and they put an aftermarket valve in. I had nothing but problems until they replaced it with a genuine - and all suddenly went good.

Yesterday we went to the second fridgy to get it finally fixed. Of course it was just low on gas [emoji849]
Got the leak fixed and looking forward to test it tomorrow in the super hot condition.
So I guess next time I will ask more questions why this or that seems to be broken to do some research on my one afterwards. Would have been a waste of money to get the tx valve changed..
Thanks for your tips, guys!
