Long time Patrol owner from Melbourne here.
2005 GU Diesel - had it since new.. now looking at updating the Radio head unit and "updating" it with some current tech.
I had a 1997 Petrol before this one.

Grouts - I updated my radio head in my 2005 STS 4.2 diesel about three years ago with a CLARION NX706AU 7 INCH MULTIMEDIA HEAD UNIT W/ NAVIGATION

I assume by now there are units that can do a lot more these days, but I’m happy with what I have at the moment.

It has taken a bit a beating in the outback over the years and has always stood up to it.
