Hi all. Just to intro myself as a new member & thanks for the GQ manual.
GQ 4.2 efi manual -325,000klms. No probs apart from yesterday. Engine Check light on, no power uphills. Have used E10 for the first time. I live 40 klms from nearest neighbour & can't afford a breakdown. Any ideas? Maybe the oxy sensor?

Welcome to the forum mate, if you don't get your answers here you may be better off posting questions under their category as a lot of people don't read the introductions section.

Enjoy the forum mate!

Hi mate, welcome...

With regard to your problem, check for a blocked Catalytic Converter, an easy way is, if you can unbolt the exhaust before the Cat to relieve the exhaust gas, then see if engine will rev or gets more power back.

If the Cat is the problem, the blocked exhaust will most likey have triggered a faulty O2 sensor/engine check light.
