Disconnecting the Sway Bar - Worth It?

G'day guys,

I recently went hitting the tracks at Cobaw State Forest and was getting some serious wheel lift in the ruts out there - some pretty scary angles too.
I only run 33s on a 2 inch lift, so of course I'm expecting some wheel lift, but I'm wondering if disconnecting the sway bar would be of any help on such a small lift.

I see Superior Engineering does quick disconnects for $175 a pair, definitely cheaper than a locker or a bigger lift kit.

Was wondering if it'd be worth going down that road?

Hey mate, I took sway bars off mine a while ago but have both fitted now with extended links. TBH never really noticed a great deal of difference in terms of flex or control of body roll but that is with my setup every different one will vary. Definatly worth fitting disconnects for the price theres not too much to loose I reckon, could always just unbolt one end and do a bit of a test. Could consider putting in ther factory rear disconnect or Superior sway bars they're supposed to be much better in controlling body roll and don't affect flex. Thinking about these one day lol. .

Yeah might see if I could just do a test by unbolting them, hopefully nothing too old breaks in the process

I rebolted my front seat bar back on on the weekend after 15 years in the shed. Car feels nice.
