Apologies for jumping in on your thread here aussiecry1 mate!
Have been discussing recently with some off forum mates about all variant Aussie 4x4 trucks and their cooling systems from stock inconsistencies each of us found.
Most specifically in Patrol land TD42’s were in question and why some do and some don’t kettle from near stock bought/builds.
Starting to piece together that maybe ‘pitting’ on new from poor casting overall and ‘pitting’ again on well cast yet poorly maintained over the decades has something to do with water cavitation and bubbles within all our variant donks?
When you get a chance mate, pop across to the Introduction section and say G’day to the NP.com.au crew, great folks and worthwhile sticking around for some very knowledgeable assistance [emoji106][emoji106]
