patrol 4.8 gas/petrolgot 35 inch tyres auto wanna change ring and pinion gears not sure what size ratio to use

I could be off the mark here, but standard in GQ I think (think) is 3.9:1 and the GU is 4.1:1 - with 35's you'd probably want to go to something like 4.6:1 to get that launch back off the mark, for highway cruising in tall gears etc - I think Marks Adaptors in Melbourne do a 4.6:1 or thereabouts.

Not sure on the actual numbers, but someone will be along to assist with tech specs ...
