Just registered and wanted to say hello. Spent a few years in Melbourne growing up, as well as the middle east. Fell in love with the Patrols, but never sold stateside. So, a couple years ago I imported a 1991 GR Y60 RD28T from Spain, as it was left hand drive and rust free! So far I've installed a lift kit, roof rack, wheels and tires, etc. Now decided it is time for an engine upgrade for some more power. Going the RB25DET route, as it seems easiest. Plus, I can find parts for that engine all day long here in the US now. Nothing for the RD.
