can anyone help with the injector pump im trying to find out if an early Y2000 model zd30 neo di with a VP44 16700VG100 zexel 109342-4025 can take a newer model vp44 16700VG100 pump, are the pumps compatible through the year range of the zd30 direct injection engine or not there are quite a few 2004,2005 model injector pumps on the market they are vp44 16700VG100 pumps they have different zexel numbers will they work on an early zd30 DDTI neo di

Hi , I just replaced IP. The same numbers you quoted. When I got home with shiny new pump in sealed bag, I opened the bag and by chance checked numbers. The tag on the bag finnished -4025 same as pump in the bag. But the numbers on my old pump {exchange ] finished -4026.
I rang the supplier and they said no worries as long as it was -402something , the final number was i think the yr of manufacture.
Fitted the pump, runs like a dream.

Not sure but when talking to supplier I got the drift numbers could be a little different, but then you need to reprogram the computer?
