When driving up in to the Pyrenees I was experiencing a delay in power after slowing for an hairpin bend and accelerating after coming out of it. The car was not dying but just holding it's low power state, after some seconds the power returned. What can I do to rectify this problem?

Could be anything from a bad earth, bad connection or a wire that has rubbed through. You will have to check the wiring loom, especially at the engine sensors. Run a new earth to the block and chassis and clean and tighten the existing earths. After that try and replicate the conditions that caused the fault.

Was it low on fuel at the time it failed?

No not low on fuel, it just wouldn't pull for a couple of seconds. Could it be a slow turbo spool up?

If it's lifted, it could be the traction control system kicking in and reducing the power. Not sure if your model has it, but if so, and this is the issue, it will usually happen in bends or coming out of them. My 2014 Y61 suffers from this and I have not been able to remedy it, so I just switch it off every time I start the truck.

Looks like it’s sorted, I checked the air filter and it looked Yuk. Popped in a new one and hey presto the power jump up.
A good service is on the horizon👍
