rd28 front mount intercooler

I am looking at doing some performance upgrades to get the most out of my rd28. I am struggling at finding information about putting a front mount intercooler on. Has anyone done this or know what intercoolers may fit?

I ran a Safari front mount air to air. It made a difference but not huge to be honest. I think a water to air might be better. They no longer make the model I had.

I think you are going to have to decide if its a front mount air to air, top mount air to air or front mount water to air, then pull the tape measure out and start seeing what fits the budget and the vehicle. Either way its a grill off job, maybe a bit of minor front panel resulting and then try to get it all back together. The 2.8 TD in the GQ wasn't that well supported in this area unlike the 4.2.
