I'm a driving school instructor, and the other day I was teaching this kid how to drive a manual.
Story number one.
Things were progressing well after they changed from 1st to second gear. Instead of changing to 3rd, we went back to 1st at about 40kmh.
It felt like I was going through 5g's. Everything went blury, and I nearly went through the windscreen, and I thought the seatbelt was gunna snap.
I felt sick and queezy for hours and after realizing I wasn't recovering, stopped the car and got something to eat.
Story number 2
I was having my 2nd lesson with a kid and I said "Do you remember where the gears are?"
They responded by saying "Down there," and pointed to the gearstick!
Their response floored me, but they were correct. lol. Those that know me, know that I'm a pretty serious person. lol.
