Yet to understand how these low life bottom feeders live with themselves, the world would be a lot better place without them.

Heart goes out to the young fellow, I hope he gets it back.

If it was my truck that was stolen I know I would be gutted.

There are some low life scum around.

Unfortunately these stories are becoming popular lately...Shame MR for the young fella!!!

I'll keep a look out on the north east side of Melbourne, ebay, gumtree and trading post.

I'd be flipping out - feel for the bloke and don't even know him!! These things are our "valuables", we don't have precious artwork, priceless gems, rare artifacts, etc ... we have our rigs and we invest too much time, effort and finance to simply have someone say "yep, I'll have that one" ... good Lord above I'd love a hour alone with these cretins ...

That just sucks, you work hard to get these things and some mungrel that has probably never done a hard days work in his life does this. Sorry to hear about it.

Well, i understand the thing was found dumped in a Paddock in Corio where it had run out of fuel 2 days ago.

Shame the Coppers did not bother to stop and get out of their car to go have a look at the big Red Patrol dumped in the paddock over there.....

There had been one on their list for 2 days!!

Shame some of the enterprising locals did. I understand that a couple of things have been taken off the car in the paddock (duel Batteries) by locals and there is a few dings in it but all in all he got off light.

I cant confirm yet but if it still has the front bar and HiMount then he had a very lucky day!!

think it is time to get a GPS transmitter for the car. Farkers!!

The problem with getting a car back after it's been stolen is that you don't know how much the bastards have thrashed it ?? I hope everything is ok and it ran out of petrol early. I had a VN commodore and the same thing happened, it was recovered a few days later. Everything was ok with the VN, ended up selling to a mate (who was aware of the theft) and it kept going for another 100,000 km's. Keeping our fingers crossed for ya.

OK update time.

The car was found in a paddock by a couple of our club members off COX Rd in Corio.

Taken was :
Lightforce spotties
Subs, amps,
Dual Battery system,
Reverse light,
Spare wheel,
Some other minor stuff.

Car was wiped down before dumping.

Things left on the dumped car :
Simex tyres
5" lift with all the stuff.
Millweld front bar
HiMount
SS Snorkel

I reckon he got off light. Very Lucky.

If it was someone stealing it for the 4x4 stuff they would have recovered a completely different wreck.

Bastards!

Cheers for the update MR...Bit strange how some other things were left on that you thought they would take but as you said...Got off lightly....Good news really!!!

Glad he got it back Darren, albeit missing some bits and wiped down, at least the low lives didn't burn it!
