Who's put a gu td42 intercooler on a gq td42??

G'day all.
I've got hold of a gu td42 intercooler and scoop.
Want to put it on my gq.
Mines a 92 factory td42 with dts turbo kit and gu airbox.
I know it's been done before and would like to know the ins and outs of doing the job.
Such as does the bracket line up?
Where exactly to mount the scoop on bonnet?
And Any other dramas associated with it?
Any advice muchly appreciated.

I can't help you too much with fitting.. but I can tell you if I was going to go to the effort of fitting and plumbing in an intercooler I'd fit something a little more substantial than the factory GU ic..

But if that's all you've got.. I'd find a good spot for the ic first then worry about the scoop after that. I wouldn't expect there would be factory mounting points on a gq that would accept the gu mount. So probably would have to do a bit of fab to make it work
