Hi all.

First attempt installing dual battery with 1225d redarc bcdc charger next week. I'm going through my planning and confident enough. I've installed UHF radios and before.

I am new to this and want to do it myself to both learn a new skill and then be able to better fault find in future.

My question related to running the red 8b&s 6 gauge cable from the aux battery back into the rear where I have a baintech Gu wagon control panel which has a spade terminal socket. What is the best way to join the 6 guage to the control panel?

Thanks

Fuse box. Baintech also do a pretty good fuse block which is what I have in my GU. I've used cheaper ones with good success too though.

78853That's what I thought. Thanks for that. I'll buy a 6 fuse block and locate attach it near the baintech panel inside the wagon side panel somehow.

I used a similar fuse panel from Jaycar in the rear of my GU when I did my dual battery install.
Here are some pics of where I located it in the rear cargo access panel on the passenger side.

That's probably not a bad idea. It took me quite a bit of time and effort getting that cable through the firewall.

Yeah I have spent a but if time just going over everything and what would the the better solution on getting the wiring down to the back. I'll have a while week to do it so hopefully it works out. It's my first time so im sure there will be some moments [emoji38]
