hi please see images
i have a 2008 zd30 crd 196,000km wagon
noticed diesel leak the other day cleaned it down and have traced it to this hose on the back of the injector pump.
its 100% diesel not oil and leaks at idle.
my thought is maybe try new worm clamp to tighten things up or new hose and clamps.
trouble is this area is so tight and hard to replace the hose.

my questions are, has this happened to others? and if so am i on the right track thinking hose or clamp?
also if anyone has fixed this how did they do it? cause there inst much working room, the rh engine mount is right in the way.

thanks

this image is when i first noticed the leak as you see its very wet everywhere but id say forward motion is making the leak spread around

I too highly dislike them OEM annoying clamps mate.
I would from your pictures personally nuffy try gripping both the tails with a small set of locking type vice grips and carefully try to slide it backwards even using a large screwdriver off the pump for leverage could help. Bang on a good stainless “worm drive” hose clamp and tighten right up to see what happens first before removing hose although it probably would need replacement soon if not now anway.

Change the hose and clamp mate. Those OEM clamps are ok but do eventually loose a little tension. For small hoses I'd recommend using a fuel injection hose clamp. They suit better than worm drive clamps and also dont destroy the hose with the sharp serrations on the band of the clamp.

Yeah they are the best for small OD hoses. The clamp up really well. I got rid of all non lined worm drive clamps on my Patrol as they even chew into rubber. Now using lined hose clamps (what I sell for when using silicone hose) and T bolt clamps. And EFI clamps for the smaller stuff.
