Kilometers on used patrol

Gday guys,
This question has probably come up a fair bit, but when looking at buying a used patrol how many k's on the engine/body should i be looking at? Budget is around 15k. When looking around i tend to see a lot of cars with around 250k's+, is this too much?

What sort of year are you looking at and which engine do you want?
For that price you are looking at older cars and older cars generally have more kms.
