GU7 / GU8 2012 Patrol

Hi All,

Been doing a little research and would I be correct in assuming that the GU7 doesn't have the rear diff lock? The vehicle I'm picking up in a couple of weeks was listed as a 2012 GU7. On closer inspection it occured to me that there is actually a diff lock swtch on the left side of the centre console. Would this make it a GU8?

Look at your build date on the radiator support panel
that will give you month and year of build

Build date 03/2012 according to the paperwork, I'll double check myself in a couple of weeks.
