Hi All,
Found this tablet mount at Bunnings on clearance for $2.00
Made a bracket out of 50mm x 5mm flat bar. 240mm long. shaped at the ends around the mirror and mount to look nice.
It is offset to maximize distance from the driver and has a dog leg bent in it to follow the roofline, mounts under the mirror with the original screws. the screws holding the mount to the bracket have been ground off flush so they don't stuff the roof lining.
Made it on the vice in the ute with a hammer, drill and grinder while I was out bush waiting for the loader to do some clearing, took about 1/2 hour to knock up and 1/2 hour for the paint to dry.
