Been on the forum for a while for it's great content and advice. First post now though. We have a 2004 GU with a tired 3.0l (313k). The car was a mess when I picked it up last year for 7k and now looks a treat, especially with the reupholstered dash. It has minor body mods but no engine mods as we bought the car with intentions of an engine transplant. It's takem up up to Coral Bay for a couple of weeks and all throughout the south West. Love my patrols when I started out with a gq shorty. Back in the market now for a newer GU so we can have cruise, rear locker and better stereo as standard (not to mention cleaner underbody with less rust).
